After installing RevMax for OpenX you must click the details link to adjust the plugin settings.
After clicking details, you are prompted with links to adjust the various plugin settings. I will outline the basic RevMax settings and clients settings here. Look under the payment gateway you are using for payment gateway specific settings.
By clicking the RevMax "settings" link you can enter in the basic RevMax configuration.
Script admin email: enter in here the email address you would like to receive script notifications to, these will include sign up, payment, reorder and banner approval emails if auto enable banners is not checked within the clients plugin settings screen.
Enable custom sign up urls: By checking this box, the advertiser signup screen located in /openx/clients/advertisers.php , will not show a select list of available ad packages, and will allow you to pass the package id number to the script in the url such as domain.com/openx/clients/advertisers.php?packageid=" X " where " X" is the ad id number within the ad packages admin screen. This is extremely useful when you wish to host your sign up server on one domain and sell ad spots on another.
Enable DMA marketing: By checking this box a new select box will become available on the advertiser sign up screen.
The advertiser can select which Demographic market area (metropolitan city) to target or which not to by not selecting. By adding limitations, you can more directly market for the advertiser, thereby making the campaign more valuable. All new banners uploaded to the clients campaign will have the same limitations.
Enable country marketing: By checking this box a new select box will appear on the advertiser sign up screen offering a list of countries to market to, applying the above rules.
RevMax does not currently support using both country and DMA marketing together. It is advised you choose one or neither.
